Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about carrying Tina’s Desserts in your network.
Product & Specs
The product
What sizes and weights are available, and how are they packaged?
Each cheesecake is a 32 oz (2 lb.) whole cake, vacuum-sealed and packaged for frozen distribution. We’re currently focused on the whole cake format — it’s the format that best showcases the quality of the product and gives your customers a real experience.
What is the shelf life frozen and refrigerated?
Frozen, our cheesecakes have a shelf life of 12 months. Once thawed and refrigerated, they should be consumed within 5–7 days. We always recommend displaying them with that expectation clearly communicated to the end buyer.
What are the storage and thawing requirements?
Keep frozen until ready to serve. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight — about 8 hours. Never thaw at room temperature. Once thawed, keep refrigerated and do not refreeze.
Are the cheesecakes sold whole, pre-sliced, or both?
Currently whole only. Each cake cuts cleanly into 10–12 generous slices, which is a strong selling point for foodservice accounts.
What allergens are present in each flavor?
All three flavors contain milk, eggs, and wheat. The Banana Pudding contains banana wafer (wheat). The Brownie Bottom contains chocolate/cocoa. They do not contain tree nuts or peanuts, but we cannot certify a nut-free facility at this time. Full allergen information is printed on every label.
Are the ingredients non-GMO or organic?
We use premium, real ingredients — real bananas, real key lime, real brownie. We don’t currently hold a certified non-GMO or organic designation, but we never use artificial flavors or artificial preservatives. That’s a core commitment of the brand.
Supply & Ordering
Working together
What is the minimum order quantity?
We’re flexible as we build distribution relationships. We ask that new partners start with a minimum of one case (typically 6 units) to allow you to test the product with your customers before committing to larger volumes.
What are your lead times from order to delivery?
Standard lead time is 5–7 business days. For larger or custom orders, we ask for 2 weeks’ notice. We’re a small operation built for quality, not speed — but we’re reliable.
Do you offer a sample program before committing to an order?
Yes. We encourage it. Reach out through our wholesale inquiry form and we’ll arrange samples. We’d rather you taste it first — the product speaks for itself.
Can you scale to meet growing demand?
We are currently scaling production. If you anticipate high volume, let’s have that conversation early so we can plan accordingly. We won’t overpromise — we’d rather grow the right way.
Pricing & Terms
The business side
What are your wholesale pricing tiers?
Pricing is provided directly to qualified wholesale partners. Please complete our wholesale inquiry form and we’ll follow up with a full line sheet including pricing tiers based on volume.
What payment terms do you offer?
We currently operate on payment due at time of order for new partners. As relationships develop, we’re open to discussing net 15 or net 30 terms.
Do you charge for shipping, and who handles logistics?
Shipping costs depend on location and order size. We work with cold chain logistics partners to ensure product integrity. Freight costs are discussed at the time of quoting.
Compliance & Certifications
Standards & safety
Are your products produced in a licensed, inspected facility?
Yes. All Tina’s Desserts products are produced in a licensed, state-inspected commercial facility that meets all applicable food safety requirements.
Do you have product liability insurance?
Yes. We carry product liability insurance. Documentation is available upon request for qualified retail and distribution partners.
Are your labels compliant with FDA nutritional labeling requirements?
Yes. All product labels include full nutritional facts, ingredient lists, allergen declarations, and net weight — fully compliant with FDA requirements.
Brand & Marketing
The brand
Do you provide sell sheets or product photography?
Yes. We provide a digital line sheet with product photography for all three flavors. POS materials are available for qualifying retail partners — reach out and we’ll discuss what works for your setup.
Do you offer demos or in-store sampling support?
We love sampling — it’s how the brand grew from a food truck. For qualifying retail partners in the north Georgia region, we can arrange sampling support. For partners further afield, we’ll work something out.
What makes Tina’s different from other cheesecake brands on the shelf?
Three things: real ingredients, a genuine story, and consistent quality. There are no artificial flavors in any of our products — ever. The brand started in my home kitchen on a food truck, and that authenticity shows in every bite. Customers come back because it actually tastes like something someone made with care. That’s not something you can manufacture.
